DLC-Beschichtung
Bei fast all unseren Shisha-Modellen bieten wir ein Upgrade namens DLC-Beschichtung an – aber wofür steht DLC und was sind die Vorteile?
Abgesehen von der erstklassigen und unvergleichbaren Aufwertung der Optik, ist die DLC Beschichtung eine Veredelung, die für den Oberflächenschutz eingeführt wurde. DLC steht für Diamond Like Carbon. Die DLC-Beschichtung ist aufwendiges Verfahren, in dem jedes einzelne Teil separat beschichtet wird. Die Teile werden mit diamantaritgen Kohlenstoff bedampft und versiegelt. Dies geschieht schichtweise und kann nach Belieben der Dicke geschichtet werden. Das DLC-Verfahren wird oftmals bei vielen Luxus- aber auch Hochleistungs-Teilen wie Werkzeuge oder Maschinenbauteilen eingesetzt. Durch die Beschichtung wird der Reibwert der Oberfläche vermindert was dafür sorgt, dass der Verschleiß der einzelnen Teile nicht so fortschreitet wie bei unbeschichteten Teilen.
Vorteile der DLC-Beschichtung:

- hohe Hitzebeständigkeit
Somit wertet unsere DLC-Beschichtung nicht nur primär die Optik auf, sondern bietet sie sekundär noch mehr Schutz für die Wasserpfeife. Sie ist dadurch weniger anfälliger für Kratzer, Fingerabdrücke und Einflüsse von Außen.
